Huibert Lavet vs Paul Quinn

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 03/11/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Huibert Lavet (9(4) - 0) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Paul Quinn(5 - 2 - 5) from Glasgow, UK.  Lavet weighed in at 135 pounds, while Quinn weighed in at 135 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bruce McBeth, and the three ringside judges are Dennis McClung, Iain MacCracken and Peter McWethy.  

Round 1: 

Lavet gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Lavet tries to keep the action at long range.  Lavet sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid cross.

Quinn steps to the outside.  Lavet lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Lavet is looking to close the distance and forces Quinn to retreat into the corner.  Lavet connects with a right hook.  
Lavet closes the distance and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Lavet closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Quinn's body.  
Lavet lands with a spiteful jab.  
Lavet steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Lavet lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lavet ties up his opponent.  Lavet pushes his forearm into Quinn's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Quinn quickly recovers. 
Lavet lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Lavet ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lavet pushes his forearm into Quinn's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lavet lands a jab.  
Lavet lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Lavet closes the distance and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Quinn's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Quinn's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Lavet closes the distance.  Lavet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Lavet steps inside and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lavet hits home with a stinging left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lavet dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Quinn throws a left hook, but Lavet clinches his opponent.  Lavet pushes his forearm into Quinn's face.  The ref breaks Lavet's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lavet steps to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
Lavet steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Lavet is on target with a left uppercut.  
Quinn tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Quinn is looking to keep his distance.  Lavet lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Lavet finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Lavet feints a cross, and then drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Lavet forces Quinn to back into the blue corner.  Lavet lands a firm right hook.  
Lavet lands a CRUSHING left uppercut.  DOWN GOES QUINN!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Lavet lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Quinn quickly recovers. 
Quinn steps to the outside.  Lavet lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Lavet lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Lavet clinches his opponent.  Lavet is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lavet closes the distance.  Lavet sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lavet steps inside and DETONATES a WICKED left hook on his opponents face.  QUINN IS HURT!  
Quinn now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Lavet closes the distance and drives a right uppercut into Quinn's body.  
Lavet lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lavet gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Lavet attempts to land a right uppercut, but Quinn blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lavet is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Lavet gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lavet lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND DOWN GOES QUINN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Lavet gets on the inside.  Quinn throws a left hook, but Lavet ties up his opponent.  Lavet is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lavet connects with a right hook.  
Lavet lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Lavet is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING QUINN TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Quinn cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Lavet!
