Diallo Sekyi vs Barry Bhengu

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Investec Milpark Stadium, Johannesburg,  taking place on 15/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Southern African Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diallo Sekyi (9(4) - 0 - 1) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Barry Bhengu(20 - 11(1)) from East London, South Africa.  Both Sekyi and Bhengu weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tokelo Motupa, and the three ringside judges are Mark Van Jaarsveld, Ndumisa Ntuli and Amon Makwetla.  

Round 1: 

Bhengu advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Bhengu hits home with a left hook.  Sekyi clinches his opponent.  Bhengu pushes his forearm into Sekyi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Bhengu.  
Sekyi tries to keep the action at long range.  Sekyi feints a left hook, and then lands a spiteful jab.  
Sekyi lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Bhengu closes the distance.  Sekyi lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.

Sekyi feints a left, and then snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Bhengu closes the distance.  Sekyi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bhengu closes the distance.  Sekyi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bhengu lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sekyi steps to the outside.  Sekyi feints a jab, tricking Bhengu into launching a left hook counter.  Sekyi avoids the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Bhengu steps inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to Bhengu's body.  
Sekyi feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Sekyi lands a cross to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Bhengu quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bhengu's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Bhengu steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Bhengu lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Sekyi is looking to keep his distance and lands a hard jab.  
Bhengu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sekyi lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Bhengu quickly recovers. 
Bhengu tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Sekyi stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Bhengu throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Sekyi is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Sekyi drives a right hook into Bhengu's ribcage.  
Sekyi is on target with a big cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE BHENGU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Sekyi switches the action to the outside.  Bhengu drives a cross into Sekyi's body.  Bhengu now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Sekyi steps to the outside.  Bhengu hits home with a cross.  
Bhengu gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sekyi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sekyi tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Bhengu gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Sekyi ties up his opponent.  Sekyi pushes his forearm into Bhengu's face.  The referee warns Sekyi and breaks the clinch.  
Bhengu advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Sekyi is looking to keep his distance.  Bhengu tries to land a cross, but Sekyi sidesteps and counters with a mean right hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE BHENGU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Bhengu is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Bhengu could be stopped here, if Sekyi can find the right shot!  Sekyi is on target with a nasty cross.  BHENGU HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  It looks like Bhengu has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Sekyi lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Bhengu quickly recovers.
