Greg Abram vs Paul Giunti

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at First Avenue, Minneapolis,  taking place on 07/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Greg Abram (7(6) - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Paul Giunti(0 - 1) from New York City, USA.  Both Abram and Giunti weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Genz, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Cullen, Sam Power and Brad Dey.  

Round 1: 

Abram is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Abram to stop fouling.  
Giunti throws a right hook, but Abram holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Giunti pushes his forearm into Abram's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abram is on target with a right uppercut to Giunti's ribs.  
Abram steps inside.  Giunti throws a right hook, but Abram ties up his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abram quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abram attempts to land a cross, but Giunti sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Giunti closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Abram holds on to his opponent.  Giunti pushes his forearm into Abram's face.  The referee warns Giunti and breaks the clinch.  
Abram lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Abram gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Abram lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Abram clinches his opponent.  Abram is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Giunti attempts to land a jab, but Abram parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Giunti tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Abram drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents body.  Abram attempts to land a jab, but Giunti sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Abram drives a firm left hook into Giunti's ribs.  
Abram advances into close range and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Abram's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Abram lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Giunti manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Giunti is on target with a solid jab.  
Abram gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Abram pivots to the left of his opponent.  Giunti digs in a left hook to Abram's ribs.  
Abram lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Giunti lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Abram clinches his opponent.  Abram leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Abram's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Giunti sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Giunti tries to land a left hook, but Abram blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Abram manages to force Giunti onto the ropes.  Abram lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Abram is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Abram lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Giunti throws a left hook, but Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Giunti throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Abram hits home with a sharp cross.  
Abram is on target with a firm right uppercut to Giunti's body.  
Abram is on target with a right uppercut to Giunti's ribcage.  
Abram lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Abram closes the distance and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Abram walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Abram lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Giunti could be stopped here, if Abram can find the right shot!  Abram lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS GIUNTI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Giunti has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Abram forces Giunti to back into the ropes.  Abram drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Abram digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Giunti throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a VICIOUS cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE GIUNTI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Giunti recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Abram steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Abram forces Giunti to back into the ropes.  Abram senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Giunti and just needs the right shot.  Abram is on target with a weighty right hook to Giunti's body.  GIUNTI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
Abram is on target with a potent right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  DOWN GOES GIUNTI!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  It looks like Giunti has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Giunti throws a right hook, but Abram clinches his opponent.  Giunti leans on his opponent using all his weight. Giunti uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Abram behind the head.
