Boghos Ibramanyan vs Momig Ekmekjyan

Boxing Daily Report from the Only Good Fights promoted show at Yerevan Roupenian, Yerevan,  taking place on 14/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Armenia-Yerevan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Armenia TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Boghos Ibramanyan (4 - 12 - 2) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Momig Ekmekjyan(5 - 12(2) - 2) from Yerevan, Armenia.  Ibramanyan weighed in at 147 pounds, while Ekmekjyan weighed in at 146 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sebuh Yaralyan, and the three ringside judges are Dadur Igitian, Anushavan Babanyan and Mesrob Epremian.  

Round 1: 

Ekmekjyan closes the distance.  Ibramanyan attempts to land a right hook, but Ekmekjyan slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Ekmekjyan steps inside.  Ekmekjyan hits home with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ibramanyan dabs at his face checking for damage.

Ibramanyan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left.  
Ekmekjyan gets on the inside and forces Ibramanyan to back into the corner.  Ibramanyan throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Ekmekjyan's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ekmekjyan.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Ekmekjyan advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
