Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Infinity Insurance Park, Miami,  taking place on 31/10/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mark Thorburn (1(1) - 0) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Antwan Alford(7 - 20(4) - 2) from Arvada, USA.  Both Thorburn and Alford weighed in at 126 pounds.

Thorburn is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Thorburn lands a VICIOUS left uppercut.  ALFORD IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Alford now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Thorburn switches the action to the outside.  Thorburn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  
Thorburn leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Alford steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Thorburn lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Alford is looking to close the distance.  Thorburn lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Thorburn clinches his opponent.  Thorburn pushes his forearm into Alford's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Thorburn attempts to land a jab, but Alford blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Thorburn's body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Alford's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Alford's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Alford's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
