Gus Laloian vs Dai McRae

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Sydney Murdoch, Sydney,  taking place on 18/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus Laloian (18 - 25(9) - 4) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Dai McRae(28(21) - 8(1)) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Laloian and McRae weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Geoff Cotts, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Dinas, Max Ogletree and John Kokes.  

Round 1: 

McRae is on target with a jab.  
McRae is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  McRae holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McRae pushes his forearm into Laloian's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McRae.  
McRae lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  McRae ties up his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks McRae's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Laloian tries to step out of his opponents range.  McRae is on target with an overhand right.  
McRae gets on the inside and forces Laloian to back into a corner.  McRae sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McRae connects with a right uppercut.  McRae clinches his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks McRae's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McRae lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
McRae gets on the inside and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
McRae hits home with a firm cross.  
McRae steps inside.  Laloian attempts to land a left hook, but McRae sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
McRae manages to force Laloian into the corner.  McRae lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  McRae ties up his opponent.  McRae is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McRae about fouling.  
McRae is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Laloian attempts to land a cross, but McRae slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
McRae circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Laloian attempts to land a cross, but McRae sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
McRae gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McRae walks his opponent onto the ropes.  McRae lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING LALOIAN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  McRae holds on to his opponent.  McRae uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Laloian behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns McRae.  
McRae is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Laloian throws a left hook, but McRae holds on to his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McRae hits home with a cross.  
McRae is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Laloian blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McRae quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into Laloian's body.  
McRae feints a right hook, and then hits home with a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Laloian's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Laloian is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
McRae steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McRae lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
McRae gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McRae walks his opponent into a corner.  McRae sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Laloian switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
McRae steps inside and digs in a solid left hook to Laloian's body.  
McRae lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
McRae drives a firm left hook into Laloian's liver.  
McRae walks Laloian down, trapping him on the ropes.  McRae is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
McRae drives a right hook into Laloian's body.  McRae clinches his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks the clinch and warns McRae to stop holding.  
McRae digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McRae lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McRae gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  McRae digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Laloian tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to Laloian's ribs.  
McRae steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
McRae closes the distance.  McRae pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McRae sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Laloian throws a left hook, but McRae holds on to his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee separates the two fighters and warns McRae to stop holding.  
McRae lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McRae lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

McRae closes the distance.  Laloian quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McRae lands a stinging left hook.  
McRae lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND SENDS LALOIAN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
McRae knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  McRae lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS LALOIAN DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Laloian has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

McRae walks Laloian into the red corner.  Laloian throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends McRae to the neutral corner.  He tells Laloian he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
McRae is on target with a right hook.  
McRae connects with a sharp right hook.

McRae closes the distance.  McRae sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a telling left hook to his opponents ribs.  LALOIAN IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.

McRae gets on the inside.  McRae senses Laloian is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  McRae lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS LALOIAN DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
McRae lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING LALOIAN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Laloian now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
McRae advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS LALOIAN!  The count reaches 10, but Laloian is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is McRae!
