Kauko Karsikas vs Aappo Jaakonsaari

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Pirkanmaa promoted show at Tampere Jallinoja, Tampere,  taking place on 21/11/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Finland-Pirkanmaa Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kauko Karsikas (8 - 7 - 7) who hails from Tampere, Finland and Aappo Jaakonsaari(8 - 8(3) - 5) from Tampere, Finland.  Both Karsikas and Jaakonsaari weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eerikki Vuorio, and the three ringside judges are Ale Innanen, Isto Lemminkainen and Pyry Mikkola.  

Round 1: 

Jaakonsaari pivots to the left of his opponent.  Karsikas digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Jaakonsaari dabs at his face checking for damage.  Jaakonsaari has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.
