Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Monterrey Landin, Monterrey,  taking place on 29/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montel Bedoya (16 - 13 - 3) who hails from Monterrey, Mexico and Nicandro Pico(19(16) - 4) from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico.  Bedoya weighed in at 139 pounds and 6 ounces, while Pico weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Andino, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Yanez, Juan Loredo and Rogelio Chapin.  

Round 1: 

Pico pivots from in front of his opponent.  Pico digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Pico ties up his opponent.  Pico is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Pico and breaks the clinch.  
Pico is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Pico ties up his opponent.  Pico is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Bedoya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pico is on target with a right hook to Bedoya's ribs.  Pico clinches his opponent.  Pico leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pico is on target with a solid left uppercut to Bedoya's body.  
Pico walks Bedoya into the corner.  Pico lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Bedoya throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a nasty right uppercut.  BEDOYA IS HURT!  Bedoya recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Pico is on target with a sharp right hook.  Pico ties up his opponent.  Pico is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Pico uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bedoya behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bedoya tries to land a right hook, but Pico dodges the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Pico steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Bedoya almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pico is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Pico drives a left hook into Bedoya's body.  
Pico is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Pico holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pico pushes his forearm into Bedoya's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pico gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Pico lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pico lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND BEDOYA IS DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Pico!
