Bruce Strother vs John Verner

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Promotions promoted show at Wa Ngata Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 30/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bruce Strother (6 - 7(2) - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and John Verner(4 - 4(1)) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Strother weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces, while Verner weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Erorangi Muunu, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Kidd, Mel Binner and Denton Rattray.
