Carlos Covarrubias vs Neper Zermeno

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Tijuana Rascon, Tijuana,  taking place on 03/12/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Baja California Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Covarrubias (32(5) - 1) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Neper Zermeno(8 - 11 - 2) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Covarrubias weighed in at 241 pounds and 11 ounces, while Zermeno weighed in at 236 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Leano, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Beato, Marjun Villalpando and Santiago Ponce.
