Chris Bong vs Paul Duras

Boxing Daily Report from the Dubango Promotions promoted show at Knoxville Brodie, Knoxville,  taking place on 06/12/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Tennessee Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Bong (10 - 10 - 2) who hails from Memphis, USA and Paul Duras(3 - 6(1)) from Knoxville, USA.  Bong weighed in at 126 pounds, while Duras weighed in at 125 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dennis McKenzie, and the three ringside judges are Charlie MacNaughton, Clint Blagg and Robert Davidson.  

Round 1: 

Duras switches the action to the outside.  Bong lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Duras pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Bong's body.  
Duras is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Bong's ribs.  
Duras advances into close range.  Duras pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Bong's ribcage.

Duras sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Duras throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Duras advances into close range and manouvers Bong into the corner.  Duras sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bong wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Duras.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Bong tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
Bong quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bong finds the target with a jab.  Bong throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Bong's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Duras's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Duras's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
