Joseph Field vs Algernon Maupassant

Boxing Daily Report from the HBLUE Promotions promoted show at O2 Arena, London,  taking place on 06/12/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Western Europe Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joseph Field (13(9) - 1) who hails from Doncaster, UK and Algernon Maupassant(20(4) - 7(4)) from Paris, France.  Both Field and Maupassant weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Hier, and the three ringside judges are Harry Morris, Fraser Yeatts and John Crowder.  

Round 1: 

Field hits home with a solid overhand left.  
Maupassant steps inside.  Maupassant pivots to the side of his opponent.  Maupassant tries to land a left uppercut, but Field blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Field tries to step out of his opponents range.  Maupassant quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Field tries to land a cross, but Maupassant sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Field lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maupassant steps inside.  Maupassant pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Field switches the action to the outside.  Maupassant sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Field lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Maupassant almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Maupassant closes the distance and manouvers Field onto the ropes.  Maupassant sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Field lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Maupassant advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Maupassant advances into close range and connects with a right uppercut.  
Maupassant forces Field to retreat onto the ropes.  Maupassant pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Maupassant advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a potent cross.  MAUPASSANT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Maupassant quickly recovers. 
Maupassant lands two straights to the body, and one to the head.  
Maupassant steps inside.  Maupassant pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Field's body.  Maupassant throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Field's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Field is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.  
Field lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Field lands with a hard jab.  
Maupassant is looking to close the distance.  Field digs in a weighty right hook to Maupassant's ribcage.  MAUPASSANT IS HURT!  
Field is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Field lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND MAUPASSANT IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Maupassant now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Field stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Maupassant lands with a stinging jab.  
Maupassant lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Maupassant steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Field feints a right hook, and then lands with a hard jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Field's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Maupassant's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Maupassant's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Field digs in a sharp left hook to Maupassant's liver.  Field throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Field is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maupassant steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Maupassant pivots to the right of his opponent.  Maupassant tries to land a left uppercut, but Field slips the shot and counters with a forceful right uppercut.  MAUPASSANT IS HURT!  
Field is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Field is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Field lands a right uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MAUPASSANT!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Maupassant closes the distance.  Field lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS MAUPASSANT TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Field!
