Steven McFarlane vs Inigo McTier

Boxing Daily Report from the Kayo Promotions promoted show at Kayo Arena, Canberra,  taking place on 26/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Capital Territory Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven McFarlane (14 - 2 - 1) who hails from Canberra, Australia and Inigo McTier(2 - 7 - 2) from Canberra, Australia.  McFarlane weighed in at 227 pounds and 14 ounces, while McTier weighed in at 226 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noah Pierce, and the three ringside judges are Irfan Dallal, Sam Savage and Charles Battaglia.  

Round 1: 

McFarlane steps inside and walks McTier down, trapping him in a corner.  McFarlane digs in a right uppercut to McTier's ribs.  McFarlane holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McFarlane pushes his forearm into McTier's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McFarlane about fouling.  
McFarlane pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McFarlane connects with a sharp left hook.  
McTier throws a left hook, but McFarlane clinches his opponent.  McFarlane tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McTier behind the head. McFarlane leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks McFarlane's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McFarlane dabs at his face checking for damage.
