Marcus Dillon vs Thomas McGowan

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 01/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marcus Dillon (6 - 16(5) - 1) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Thomas McGowan(12(1) - 6(1)) from Aberdeen, UK.  Both Dillon and McGowan weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hamish McBeth, and the three ringside judges are David McClarnon, Peter McWethy and Adam Blair.  

Round 1: 

Dillon steps inside.  McGowan pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a firm left hook.
