Mike Everett vs John Blackshaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 03/01/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Showtime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mike Everett (21(6) - 4 - 2) who hails from Baltimore, USA and John Blackshaw(29 - 19(5) - 2) from Olathe, USA.  Everett weighed in at 135 pounds, while Blackshaw weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Morgan Reuben, and the three ringside judges are David Ness, Oscar Hall and Paul Kelton.
