Nao Taketa vs Aoi Akiyama

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Japan National Stadium, Tokyo,  taking place on 10/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nao Jikan Taketa (38(32) - 14(6) - 1) who hails from Hamamatsu, Japan and Aoi Akiyama(12(7) - 1(1) - 1) from Kashiwa, Japan.  Taketa weighed in at 118 pounds, while Akiyama weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Yamamoto, and the three ringside judges are Michi Uyehara, Dai Fujita and Isamu Shibuya.
