Sam Forbes vs Bart Bourne

Boxing Daily Report from the Fistic Inc promoted show at Brandon Park, Wollongong,  taking place on 24/01/2043:

Clearly Fistic Inc have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are The Hammer Sam Forbes (17(12) - 2(2)) who hails from Wollongong, Australia and Bart Bourne(20(14) - 8(7)) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Forbes and Bourne weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Kokes, and the three ringside judges are Jacob Connelly, James Finocchiaro and Clinton Powell.  

Round 1: 

Bourne tries to land a cross, but Forbes sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Forbes is looking to keep his distance.  Bourne hits home with an overhand right.  
Bourne steps inside.  Forbes is on target with a left uppercut.  
Forbes steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  Forbes tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Bourne advances into close range.  Forbes attempts to land a left hook, but Bourne sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Forbes steps away from his opponent.  Bourne throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Forbes switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Bourne steps inside.  Forbes sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Forbes tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Forbes lands a sharp overhand left.  
Forbes attempts to land a cross, but Bourne slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.

Forbes steps away from his opponent.  Bourne lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two overhand rights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bourne gets on the inside and walks Forbes down, trapping him on the ropes.  Forbes attempts to land a right hook, but Bourne slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bourne lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Bourne hits home with a stinging cross.  
Forbes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Bourne advances into close range.  Some sustained pressure from Forbes could be enough to finish Bourne!  Forbes lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS BOURNE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Bourne now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Bourne lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Bourne steps inside and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  Bourne attempts to land a right hook, but Forbes slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.

Bourne steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  Bourne throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Bourne's body.
