Khalon Rabiu vs Waqas Azimi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Josh Kwofie Gym, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/12/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khalon Rabiu (1 - 10(1) - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Waqas Azimi(23 - 10 - 7 - 1(NC)) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Rabiu weighed in at 126 pounds, while Azimi weighed in at 125 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Kwakye, and the three ringside judges are Lamech Duncan, Paul Kwakye and Vincent Lamptey.  

Round 1:

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Azimi dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Azimi.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
