Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Manchester Regional Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 17/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the British Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Glynn Gilkeson (13(7) - 0) who hails from Leeds, UK and Jay Speirs(8(4) - 4(3) - 2) from Middlesbrough, UK.  Both Gilkeson and Speirs weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Davie Lowden, and the three ringside judges are Wayne Latham, Chris MacGibbon and Matthew McReynolds.
