Hayden Bates vs John Lyall

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Ontario promoted show at Travelodge Ottawa Hotel, Ottawa,  taking place on 17/12/2042:

Clearly AI Canada-Ontario have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hayden Bates (6(5) - 0) who hails from Indianapolis, USA and John Lyall(7 - 3) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Both Bates and Lyall weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bellamy Batiste, and the three ringside judges are Theo Hamill, Dave Brown and William Grosjean.  

Round 1: 

Bates throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lyall tries to land a jab, but Bates sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Bates is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bates gets on the inside.  Bates pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Bates closes the distance and digs in a solid left hook to Lyall's body.  
Bates steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Bates clinches his opponent.  Bates pushes his forearm into Lyall's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Bates closes the distance.  Lyall throws a left hook, but Bates holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lyall pushes his forearm into Bates's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lyall to stop fouling.

Lyall drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Lyall tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Bates manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Lyall throws a left hook, but Bates ties up his opponent.  Lyall is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Bates's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bates quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Lyall almost instantly recovers. 
Bates crashes a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  LYALL IS HURT!  Lyall almost instantly recovers. 
Bates digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Lyall finds the target with a jab.  
Lyall sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bates finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Bates advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Bates ties up his opponent.  Bates is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bates to stop fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lyall's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Lyall's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Lyall's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Bates stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Bates EXPLODES a WICKED left uppercut into his opponents face.  LYALL IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.

Bates lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bates closes the distance and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Bates advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Lyall lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lyall throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to Lyall's ribs.  
Bates is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
