Colombo Trivelli vs Joseph McPhee

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Radisson Hotel, Glasgow,  taking place on 29/12/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Colombo Trivelli (8(8) - 0) who hails from Catania, Italy and Joseph McPhee(1 - 33(1) - 2) from Oxford, UK.  Both Trivelli and McPhee weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iain MacCracken, and the three ringside judges are Andrew Frew, Gordon Arnott and Peter Cullen.  

Round 1: 

Trivelli steps inside.  McPhee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Trivelli lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Trivelli throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Trivelli clinches his opponent.  Trivelli is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Trivelli and breaks the clinch.  
Trivelli lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Trivelli is on target with a stinging left hook to McPhee's ribs.  Trivelli clinches his opponent.  Trivelli leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Trivelli lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Trivelli clinches his opponent.  Trivelli leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Trivelli forces McPhee to retreat onto the ropes.  Trivelli lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trivelli drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
McPhee throws a right hook, but Trivelli clinches his opponent.  Trivelli leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Trivelli slams a spiteful right hook into his opponents body.  MCPHEE IS HURT!  
Trivelli advances into close range.  Trivelli senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Trivelli whips in a spiteful right uppercut to McPhee's body.  MCPHEE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like McPhee has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Trivelli lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Trivelli ties up his opponent.  Trivelli leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McPhee tries to land a cross, but Trivelli blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Trivelli is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Trivelli is on target with a solid left hook to McPhee's body.  Trivelli clinches his opponent.  Trivelli leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Trivelli lands a left hook.  
Trivelli hits home with a left hook.  
Trivelli gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Trivelli cuts off the ring, trapping McPhee in the red corner.  Trivelli lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Trivelli quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Trivelli hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Trivelli lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Trivelli drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Trivelli lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Trivelli thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put McPhee away.  Trivelli lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MCPHEE DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  McPhee now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Trivelli lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND MCPHEE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Trivelli!
