EOD Running: Pre Show
Leon Purvis vs Chris Lemonds

Boxing Daily Report from the Serero Promotions promoted show at Kristofor Nikšić Gym, Raleigh,  taking place on 05/01/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Purvis (3 - 1) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Chris Lemonds(29(2) - 15(1)) from Charlotte, USA.  Purvis weighed in at 135 pounds, while Lemonds weighed in at 134 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alen Corson, and the three ringside judges are Arthur Atcheson, Ellis Davies and Alen Corson.  

Round 1: 

Purvis hits home with a left uppercut.  
Purvis quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Lemonds has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
