David Cooney vs Matthew MacNevin

Boxing Daily Report from the Iain Llewellyn promoted show at Royal Dublin Society, Dublin,  taking place on 16/01/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Irish Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Cú Chulainn Cooney (30(19) - 2(2)) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Matthew MacNevin(6(1) - 2 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Cooney weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces, while MacNevin weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua McColl, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Dermott, Shamus Nicholson and Paul Healy.
