Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town,  taking place on 24/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Chigozie Inoniyegha (2 - 2) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Thulani Mabena(1 - 0) from Randburg, South Africa.  Both Inoniyegha and Mabena weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is La Vonn Dorkenoo, and the three ringside judges are Musa Zwane, Runako Mashaba and Useni Mfeketho.

Inoniyegha pushes his forearm into Mabena's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Inoniyegha about fouling.

Inoniyegha feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Inoniyegha steps to the outside and lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mabena quickly recovers. 
Inoniyegha feints a cross, and then lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Mabena gets on the inside.  Inoniyegha sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Inoniyegha lands a left uppercut to the head, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two right uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS MABENA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Mabena now seems to have his senses back.  
Inoniyegha steps away from his opponent and EXPLODES a MASSIVE cross into his opponents face.  MABENA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Inoniyegha!
