Noel Merrick vs John Watson

Boxing Daily Report from the Kaamba Promotions promoted show at Ian Breck Gym, Stamford,  taking place on 07/01/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Noel Merrick (16(6) - 2) who hails from New Haven, USA and John Watson(14 - 6(3)) from Bridgeport, USA.  Merrick weighed in at 147 pounds, while Watson weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jack Blaney, and the three ringside judges are Phil Stephen, Kieran Gunion and Dale Carse.  

Round 1: 

Merrick finds the target with a jab.
