Ian Muffett vs Oscar Tait

Boxing Daily Report from the Kapenta Promotions promoted show at Atlanta Tonner, Atlanta,  taking place on 08/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Georgia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Muffett (11 - 11(3) - 2) who hails from Augusta, USA and Oscar Tait(28(14) - 1) from Augusta, USA.  Muffett weighed in at 153 pounds and 5 ounces, while Tait weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Tarbet, and the three ringside judges are Owen Lowery, Will Sangster and Jacob Quigley.  

Round 1: 

Tait connects with a firm overhand right.  
Tait digs in a forceful left hook to his opponents body.  MUFFETT IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Tait clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tait pushes his forearm into Muffett's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tait throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Tait ties up his opponent.  Tait leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Tait pushes his forearm into Muffett's face.  The referee warns Tait and breaks the clinch.  
Muffett switches the action to the outside.  Tait lands a jab.  
Tait lands a sharp overhand right.  
Tait advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  Tait holds on to his opponent.  Tait is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Muffett is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Tait lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tait closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Tait lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Muffett throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook to Muffett's body.  
Tait digs in a stinging left hook to Muffett's body.  
Tait digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Muffett attempts to land a cross, but Tait slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut to Muffett's body.  
Muffett tries to land a jab, but Tait sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Tait gets on the inside.  Tait sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Tait advances into close range.  Tait sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Muffett attempts to land a left hook, but Tait sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Muffett is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Muffett lands a left uppercut.  Muffett attempts to land a left uppercut, but Tait slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Muffett's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Muffett's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Muffett pivots to the left of his opponent.  Tait lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tait connects with a stinging left hook.  
Tait is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Tait is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Tait steps inside and forces Muffett to back into the ropes.  Tait lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Muffett steps to the outside.  Muffett quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tait attempts to land a jab, but Muffett slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tait steps inside and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Tait drives a solid right hook into Muffett's ribcage.  
Tait lands a HUGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MUFFETT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Tait clinches his opponent.  Tait tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Muffett's kidney. As they grapple, Muffett pushes his forearm into Tait's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Muffett recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tait walks Muffett down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tait sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a big right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MUFFETT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Muffett could be stopped here, if Tait can find the right shot!  Tait lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Tait!
