Ewan Whitehorn vs Mick Rios

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Sun Life Stadium, Miami,  taking place on 27/12/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ewan Warhawk Whitehorn (15(15) - 0) who hails from Joliet, USA and Mick Rios(25 - 17(1) - 6) from Houston, USA.  Both Whitehorn and Rios weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ora Danon, and the three ringside judges are John Cook, John Owens and Robert Keys.  

Round 1: 

Whitehorn lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Rios switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Whitehorn blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rios steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Whitehorn blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Whitehorn gets on the inside and whips in a mean left uppercut to Rios's liver.  RIOS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Whitehorn clinches his opponent.  Whitehorn pushes his forearm into Rios's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Rios quickly recovers. 
Whitehorn lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Whitehorn ties up his opponent.  Whitehorn is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Whitehorn about fouling.  
Whitehorn lands a solid cross.  
Whitehorn steps inside and lands a solid left uppercut.  Whitehorn ties up his opponent.  Whitehorn throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Whitehorn lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Whitehorn clinches his opponent.  Whitehorn leans on his opponent using all his weight. Whitehorn pushes his forearm into Rios's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Whitehorn to stop fouling.  
Rios attempts to land a jab, but Whitehorn slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Whitehorn steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Whitehorn holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rios pivots to the right of his opponent.  Whitehorn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Rios quickly recovers. 
Whitehorn manages to force Rios onto the ropes.  Whitehorn lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Whitehorn drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  Whitehorn clinches his opponent.  Whitehorn tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rios behind the head. 
Whitehorn lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Whitehorn lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Whitehorn lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Whitehorn lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Whitehorn lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Whitehorn walks his opponent into the corner.  Whitehorn lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Whitehorn lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND SENDS RIOS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.

Whitehorn SLAMS a WICKED left hook into his opponents face.  RIOS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Rios almost instantly gets his legs back.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rios's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Rios's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Rios's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Rios's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Whitehorn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Whitehorn lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Whitehorn holds on to his opponent.  Whitehorn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Rios recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Whitehorn lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Whitehorn lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Whitehorn closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Rios recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
