Frisco Justo vs Cipriano Escovedo

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Caninde Stadium, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 07/03/2043:

Clearly North Star Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SporTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Frisco Justo (14(12) - 0) who hails from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Cipriano Escovedo(11 - 18(2) - 7) from Recife, Brazil.  Justo weighed in at 168 pounds, while Escovedo weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Macario Nuno, and the three ringside judges are Noe Reza, Rodrigo Lobos and Vidal Raposa.  

Round 1: 

Escovedo advances into close range.  Justo throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Justo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Justo pushes his forearm into Escovedo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Justo to stop fouling.  
Justo gets on the inside and drives a right hook into Escovedo's body.  
Justo steps inside and forces Escovedo to back into the ropes.  Justo lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Justo ties up his opponent.  Justo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Justo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Justo lands a cross, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  
Justo steps inside and digs in a sharp left uppercut to Escovedo's body.  
Justo steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND SENDS ESCOVEDO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Justo holds on to his opponent.  Justo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Justo is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Justo lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING ESCOVEDO TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Escovedo now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Justo steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Justo throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Justo holds on to his opponent.  Justo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Justo manages to force Escovedo into the blue corner.  Justo connects with a solid cross.  
Justo lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Justo throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Justo holds on to his opponent.  Justo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Justo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Justo steps inside.  Escovedo throws a left hook, but Justo holds on to his opponent.  Justo uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Escovedo's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Justo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Justo lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Justo walks his opponent into the corner.  Justo connects with a stinging left hook.  Justo ties up his opponent.  Justo pushes his forearm into Escovedo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Justo to stop fouling.  
Justo lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Justo digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Justo clinches his opponent.  Justo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Justo throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Justo's body.  
Justo throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Justo holds on to his opponent.  Justo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Escovedo behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Justo.  
Justo is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Escovedo's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Escovedo's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Escovedo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Escovedo's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Justo advances into close range and drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Escovedo advances into close range.  Justo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Justo could be enough to finish Escovedo!  Justo lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND ESCOVEDO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Justo!
