Hugh Lynn vs Verrill Aznavour

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 14/02/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Super Channel, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hugh Lynn (12(10) - 1) who hails from Vancouver, Canada and Verrill Aznavour(23 - 3(1)) from Quebec City, Canada.  Lynn weighed in at 236 pounds and 6 ounces, while Aznavour weighed in at 226 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Kopa, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Kopa, Sid Leys and Sid Leys.  

Round 1:

Lynn pivots to the left of his opponent.  Aznavour tries to land a left hook, but Lynn slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Aznavour is looking to close the distance.  Lynn lands a stinging left hook.  
Aznavour forces Lynn to back into the ropes.  Lynn lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.
