Jeremie Jacques vs Byron Bassong

Boxing Daily Report from the The Home of Boxing promoted show at King Fahd Sports City, Riyadh,  taking place on 29/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Intercontinental Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Checkmate Jeremie Jacques (28(25) - 3(3)) who hails from Geneva, Switzerland and Byron Bassong(21(15) - 5(3)) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Jacques and Bassong weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Majid Yousuf, and the three ringside judges are Umair Bagheri, Bilal Abdelrahman and Danyaal Amber.  

Round 1: 

Jacques throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
