Roy Mullen vs Lionel Vartan

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at SSE Hydro, Glasgow,  taking place on 17/01/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roy Mullen (6 - 22(4) - 4) who hails from Limerick, Ireland and Lionel Vartan(7 - 9 - 5) from Rennes, France.  Mullen weighed in at 118 pounds, while Vartan weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Iain MacCracken, and the three ringside judges are Hamish McBeth, Joseph Menelaws and John McVicker.  

Round 1: 

Mullen finds the target with a jab.
