Miguel Araya vs David Donaghue

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at UNF Arena, Jacksonville,  taking place on 21/02/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are El Artista Miguel Araya (6(2) - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and David Donaghue(7 - 10(1) - 2) from Omaha, USA.  Both Araya and Donaghue weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sean Carmona, and the three ringside judges are Paul Maskell, Davie Riquelme and Robert Keys.  

Round 1: 

Donaghue hits home with a cross.  
Araya is on target with a jab.  
Donaghue manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Donaghue connects with a cross.

Araya gets on the inside.  Araya sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Araya tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Araya steps away from his opponent.  Araya feints a left hook, and then lands a hurtful overhand left.  IT LOOKS LIKE DONAGHUE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Araya senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Donaghue and just needs the right shot.  Araya lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  Donaghue now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Donaghue cuts off the ring, trapping Araya on the ropes.  Araya lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Donaghue recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Donaghue's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Donaghue's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Araya lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Araya feints a jab, tricking Donaghue into launching a cross counter.  Araya avoids the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Donaghue is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Araya tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Araya feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Araya connects with a firm overhand right.  
Araya lands a ramrod jab.  
Araya tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head, AND DROPS DONAGHUE!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Araya!
