Borden Sene vs Briant Normandin

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Stade Demba Diop, Dakar,  taking place on 10/01/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Borden Sene (5(3) - 0) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Briant Normandin(13 - 3 - 1) from Touba, Senegal.  Sene weighed in at 199 pounds and 15 ounces, while Normandin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Garner Seyrig, and the three ringside judges are Gaston Angrand, Garner Seyrig and Turiau Millot.  

Round 1: 

Sene tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to his opponents body.  Sene attempts to land a jab, but Normandin sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Sene digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  Sene holds on to his opponent.  Sene is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sene lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Sene is on target with a right hook.  
Sene lands a sharp right hook.  
Sene steps inside and lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Normandin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Sene lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  Sene ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sene pushes his forearm into Normandin's face.  The referee warns Sene and breaks the clinch.  
Sene lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Sene steps to the outside.  Normandin tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Sene gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Normandin is on target with a left hook.  Normandin tries to land a left hook, but Sene blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sene manages to force Normandin onto the ropes.  Sene hits home with a firm right hook.  
Sene lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Sene pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Sene hits home with a solid right hook.  
Sene lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sene is on target with a left hook.  
Sene throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sene steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Normandin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Sene is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Sene drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Normandin is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Sene lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Normandin quickly recovers. 
Sene lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Sene lands a sharp left uppercut.  Sene holds on to his opponent.  Sene leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Sene's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Normandin's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Normandin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Normandin's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Sene lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sene lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Normandin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Normandin attempts to land a jab, but Sene slips the shot and counters with a CRUSHING cross.  NORMANDIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Sene could be enough to force the stoppage!  Sene lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND SENDS NORMANDIN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Sene advances into close range.  Sene connects with a HUGE cross.  DOWN GOES NORMANDIN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Sene!
