Vicente Puerto vs Nicandro Caragay

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at SM MOA Arena, Manila,  taking place on 14/02/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vicente Puerto (44(34) - 6(4)) who hails from General Trias, Philippines and Nicandro Caragay(45(40) - 1(1)) from Manila, Philippines.  Both Puerto and Caragay weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rico Lastra, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Lastra, Bryn Sugcang and Manuel Tapina.  

Round 1: 

Caragay connects with a stinging cross.  
Caragay lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Caragay manouvers Puerto into the blue corner.  Caragay lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.

Caragay steps inside and walks Puerto down, trapping him on the ropes.  Caragay lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Puerto clinches his opponent.  Puerto is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Puerto to stop fouling.

Caragay steps inside.  Puerto whips in a mean left hook to Caragay's liver.  CARAGAY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Caragay walks Puerto down, trapping him on the ropes.  Puerto is looking to force the stoppage!  Puerto lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, KNOCKING CARAGAY DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Puerto lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS CARAGAY DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Puerto lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS CARAGAY DOWN!  The ref does not give Caragay the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Puerto!
