Gethin Girvan vs Primo Vinay

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit 3.0 promoted show at Adelaide Grimaldi, Adelaide,  taking place on 26/01/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-South Australia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gethin Girvan (4(3) - 1) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Primo Vinay(8 - 8(2) - 2) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Girvan and Vinay weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ethan Platt, and the three ringside judges are Billy Priddy, Ben Samaras and Kian Pugh.  

Round 1: 

Girvan lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Girvan switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Girvan hits home with a cross.  
Vinay gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Girvan is on target with a left hook.  Girvan clinches his opponent.  Girvan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Vinay pushes his forearm into Girvan's face.  The ref breaks Girvan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Girvan is looking to keep his distance.  Girvan feints a left hook, and then lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Vinay advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Girvan ties up his opponent.  Vinay pushes his forearm into Girvan's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Girvan tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Girvan is looking to keep his distance.  Girvan feints a jab, and then lands a cross.

Vinay advances into close range.  Girvan pivots to the left of his opponent.  Girvan throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Girvan ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Vinay pushes his forearm into Girvan's face.  The referee warns Vinay and breaks the clinch.  
Girvan steps away from his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Girvan hits home with a stiff jab.  
Vinay walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Girvan hits home with a firm left hook.  
Girvan steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Girvan feints a right hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Girvan is looking to keep his distance and lands a stinging overhand right.  
Girvan tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Girvan lands an overhand left to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Girvan is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.

Girvan hits home with a cross.  
Girvan lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Girvan lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Vinay is looking to close the distance.  Girvan lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Girvan lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.

Vinay gets on the inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  Girvan clinches his opponent.  Girvan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Girvan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Girvan steps to the outside.  Girvan feints a left, and then lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Girvan strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Girvan lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Girvan lands with a sharp jab.  
Girvan connects with a mean cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE VINAY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Girvan knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Girvan lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS VINAY TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Vinay now seems to have his senses back.  
Girvan is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head, AND DROPS VINAY!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Girvan!
