Juwon Babagida vs Rabiu Akpala

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Rivers State promoted show at Port Harcourt Akwashiki, Port Harcourt,  taking place on 29/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Rivers State Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juwon Babagida (5 - 11(1) - 4) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Rabiu Akpala(15(8) - 2) from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  Both Babagida and Akpala weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Etebo Obisesan, and the three ringside judges are Prince Nwapa, Elliot Adewunmi and Julius Sosan.  

Round 1: 

Babagida throws a right uppercut, but Akpala ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Akpala pushes his forearm into Babagida's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
