Michael Hopes vs Robert Laidley

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 28/02/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Hopes (9(5) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Surrey, Canada and Robert Laidley(6 - 8(1)) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Hopes and Laidley weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Gillespie, and the three ringside judges are Sinjon Bellanger, James Dunlap and Mallory Beaumarchais.  

Round 1:
