Greg Abram vs Alano Pabon

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Revel Fulton Market, Chicago,  taking place on 27/02/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Greg Abram (9(7) - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Alano Pabon(0 - 0) from Oakland, USA.  Abram weighed in at 175 pounds, while Pabon weighed in at 174 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Touch, and the three ringside judges are Gregor Ivers, Ewan Humphries and Ben Massie.  

Round 1: 

Abram advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Abram ties up his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pabon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abram lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Abram tries to land a cross, but Pabon slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Abram is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Pabon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abram throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Abram ties up his opponent.  Pabon pushes his forearm into Abram's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abram lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Abram ties up his opponent.  Pabon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Pabon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pabon to stop fouling.  
Pabon throws a left hook, but Abram ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Abram's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Abram quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abram lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Abram ties up his opponent.  Abram pushes his forearm into Pabon's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Pabon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Pabon attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Abram time to recover.  
Abram closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pabon lands a jab.  
Abram steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Pabon almost instantly recovers. 
Abram gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Abram closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Abram advances into close range and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Pabon is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Pabon tries to land a jab, but Abram blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Abram closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Abram is on target with a jab.  
Abram digs in a right uppercut to Pabon's body.  
Abram walks Pabon down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pabon attempts to land a right hook, but Abram sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Abram sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Abram knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Abram is on target with a forceful right hook to Pabon's body.  DOWN GOES PABON!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Pabon now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pabon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Pabon's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Pabon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Pabon's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Pabon tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Abram steps inside.  Abram sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Abram is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Pabon digs in a left hook to Abram's body.  
Abram lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Abram connects with a firm right hook.  
Abram is looking to close the distance.  Pabon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Abram lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Abram clinches his opponent.  Abram pushes his forearm into Pabon's face.  The referee warns Abram and breaks the clinch.

Abram manages to force Pabon onto the ropes.  Pabon attempts to land a right uppercut, but Abram sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Abram is looking to close the distance.  Pabon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Abram lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Abram walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Abram lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Abram senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Pabon and just needs the right shot.  Abram lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS PABON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5. Abram thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Pabon away.  Abram SLAMS a WICKED right hook into his opponents face.  PABON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT PABON IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Abram!
