Brett Dunlay vs Paul Cavina

Boxing Daily Report from the DBA promoted show at Crescent City Boxing Gym, New Orleans,  taking place on 05/02/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Louisiana Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Dunlay (8 - 10(4) - 2) who hails from Shreveport, USA and Paul Cavina(15(4) - 6(2)) from New Orleans, USA.  Dunlay weighed in at 168 pounds And 13 ounces, while Cavina weighed in at 168 pounds.    As Dunlay came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Dougal, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Grieve, Arthur Tran and Kian Hason.  

Round 1: 

Cavina forces Dunlay to retreat into the corner.  Cavina pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Cavina pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cavina gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to Dunlay's body.  
Cavina pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a firm right hook.  
Cavina is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Cavina manages to force Dunlay into the corner.  Cavina sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Cavina steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Cavina closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Cavina lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cavina closes the distance.  Cavina pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Cavina lands a stinging right hook.  
Cavina steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Dunlay sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Cavina lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cavina lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cavina backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Dunlay steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dunlay's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Dunlay's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
