Rory Power vs Ronan Magee

Boxing Daily Report from the Iain Llewellyn promoted show at University Arena, Limerick,  taking place on 29/01/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rory Power (2 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Ronan Magee(8 - 2 - 3) from Belfast, UK.  Power weighed in at 114 pounds and 1 ounces, while Magee weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carl Kelly, and the three ringside judges are Eoghan Healey, Evan Coghlan and Conor McCrory.  

Round 1: 

Power sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Power walks Magee down, trapping him in the corner.  Magee throws a left hook, but Power clinches his opponent.  Power is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Magee throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Magee advances into close range and attempts to land a right hook, but Power blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Power lands a left hook.  Power holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Power's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Power lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Power connects with a left uppercut.  
Power lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Power ties up his opponent.  Power leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Power pushes his forearm into Magee's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Power to stop fouling.  
Magee tries to land a cross, but Power sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Power lands a right hook.  Power holds on to his opponent.  Power hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Power lands a ramrod jab.  
Power connects with a sharp left hook.  
Power drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Power lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Magee closes the distance.  Power connects with a firm left hook.  
Magee forces Power to retreat onto the ropes.  Power lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Power lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Power lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Power manages to force Magee into the corner.  Power connects with a right hook.  
Magee throws a left hook, but Power ties up his opponent.  Power leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Power pushes his forearm into Magee's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Magee's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Magee's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Magee's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Power lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Magee throws a left hook, but Power ties up his opponent.  Power pushes his forearm into Magee's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Power.  
Power lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Power lands a solid left hook.  
Power is on target with a left hook.  
Power lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Power lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Power advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Power digs in a left uppercut to Magee's body.
