Simba Jumbo vs Kasi Makondo

Boxing Daily Report from the Donnelly Boxing promoted show at Trory Badat Gym, Ndola,  taking place on 09/02/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia-Copperbelt Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Simba Jumbo (2 - 7 - 1) who hails from Kitwe, Zambia and Kasi Makondo(16(1) - 15(5) - 3) from Ndola, Zambia.  Jumbo weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces, while Makondo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vashon Kamanga, and the three ringside judges are Oringo Namomba, Quaddus Mateyo and Phornello Hamabilo.  

Round 1: 

Makondo closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.
