Rehman Naseer vs Yasin Zaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at KLCC Exhibition Hall, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 02/02/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rehman Naseer (5(2) - 0) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Yasin Zaki(8 - 18(1) - 5) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Naseer weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces, while Zaki weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Danyaal Kharoti, and the three ringside judges are Azam Asmar, Xi-Wang Soon and Adnan Wasti.  

Round 1: 

Naseer steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Naseer clinches his opponent.  Naseer leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Naseer lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Naseer holds on to his opponent.  Naseer pushes his forearm into Zaki's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Naseer about fouling.  
Naseer lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Naseer ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Zaki manages to force Naseer into the corner.  Naseer lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Naseer lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Naseer steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Naseer lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Naseer clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Naseer pushes his forearm into Zaki's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Naseer is on target with a forceful right uppercut to Zaki's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ZAKI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Naseer is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Naseer lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND ZAKI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Zaki now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Zaki throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to Zaki's ribs.  
Naseer digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.

Naseer drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Naseer steps inside and manouvers Zaki into a corner.  Naseer lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Zaki has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Naseer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Naseer lands a solid left hook.  Naseer clinches his opponent.  Naseer leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Naseer throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Naseer ties up his opponent.  Naseer tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Zaki behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Naseer lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Naseer is on target with a right hook to Zaki's ribcage.  
Naseer is looking to close the distance and drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zaki's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Zaki's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Zaki's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Zaki steps inside.  Naseer lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Naseer clinches his opponent.  Naseer leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Zaki almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Naseer advances into close range and connects with a solid left hook.  
Naseer lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS ZAKI DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Zaki quickly recovers. 
Naseer gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Naseer lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING ZAKI TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Naseer advances into close range and drives a solid left hook into Zaki's body.  
Naseer hits home with a cross.  
Naseer is looking to close the distance and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Naseer drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Naseer lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!
