Justin Fylan vs Brad Cecil

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 16/02/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Justin Fylan (4(4) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Brad Cecil(6 - 1 - 1) from Bradford, UK.  Both Fylan and Cecil weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Cullen, and the three ringside judges are Anton Adam, William Owen and Marcus McConachie.  

Round 1: 

Fylan throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Fylan clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Fylan lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Cecil almost instantly recovers. 
Fylan closes the distance and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Fylan advances into close range.  Cecil pivots to the left of his opponent.  Fylan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Fylan holds on to his opponent.  Fylan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Fylan pushes his forearm into Cecil's face.  The referee warns Fylan and breaks the clinch.  Cecil quickly recovers. 
Fylan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Fylan gets on the inside.  Cecil sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Fylan digs in a stinging right hook to Cecil's body.  
Fylan cuts off the ring, trapping Cecil in the red corner.  Fylan lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Fylan throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Fylan ties up his opponent.  Fylan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cecil behind the head. 
Fylan lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fylan digs in a left uppercut to Cecil's liver.  
Fylan manages to force Cecil into the blue corner.  Fylan digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Fylan clinches his opponent.  Fylan uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Cecil's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Fylan.  
Fylan digs in a right hook to Cecil's ribs.  
Fylan is on target with a solid left uppercut to Cecil's body.  
Fylan lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Fylan is looking to force the stoppage!  Fylan lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS CECIL SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Fylan pivots to the left of his opponent.  Fylan lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Fylan holds on to his opponent.  Fylan hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Cecil now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Fylan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Fylan ties up his opponent.  Fylan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fylan lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Cecil quickly recovers. 
Fylan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Fylan digs in a potent right hook to Cecil's body.  It looks like Cecil has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cecil's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Cecil's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Round 2: 

Fylan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cecil throws a left hook, but Fylan holds on to his opponent.  Fylan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Fylan pushes his forearm into Cecil's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Fylan feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Fylan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a potent right hook to Cecil's body.  CECIL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Fylan knows Cecil is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Fylan crashes a hurtful right uppercut to his opponents body.  CECIL IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Fylan digs in a powerful right uppercut to Cecil's body.  CECIL IS DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Fylan!
