Edward Kerr vs Jim MacCarthy

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 05/03/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Scotland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edward Kerr (26 - 14(5)) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Jim MacCarthy(8 - 13(2) - 3) from Aberdeen, UK.  Kerr weighed in at 175 pounds And 11 ounces, while MacCarthy weighed in at 175 pounds.    As Kerr came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Patrick McBeth, and the three ringside judges are Gordon Loch, Peter McAlister and David McClarnon.
