Oqtay Mardanov vs Zain Naqvi

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Mumtaz Baliev Gym, Baku,  taking place on 18/02/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oqtay Mardanov (5 - 6 - 5) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Zain Naqvi(13 - 24 - 5) from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan.  Both Mardanov and Naqvi weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Khamis Gadjibabayev, and the three ringside judges are Malik Shabazz, Hafiz Allahverdiev and Syed Azer.  

Round 1: 

Naqvi switches the action to the outside.  Mardanov tries to land an overhand right, but Naqvi slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
