Oisin Markey vs David MacFarland

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at Dublin Casey, Dublin,  taking place on 23/02/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oisin Markey (10 - 13 - 3) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and David MacFarland(3(1) - 3(1)) from Dublin, Ireland.  Markey weighed in at 168 pounds, while MacFarland weighed in at 167 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carl MacRae, and the three ringside judges are Brandon Madigan, Mel Mohan and Dean Napier.  

Round 1: 

MacFarland closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  MacFarland ties up his opponent.  MacFarland is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns MacFarland.  
MacFarland is on target with a solid left uppercut to Markey's ribs.  
MacFarland steps inside and forces Markey to retreat onto the ropes.  MacFarland is on target with a left hook to Markey's liver.  
MacFarland pivots from in front of his opponent.  MacFarland hits home with a right hook.  MacFarland clinches his opponent.  MacFarland is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
MacFarland quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Markey throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  MacFarland holds on to his opponent. MacFarland gets on the inside.  MacFarland pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
MacFarland digs in a right uppercut to Markey's ribs.  
MacFarland forces Markey to retreat onto the ropes.  MacFarland lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
