Daichi Soma vs Jun Konda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Yokohama Kodama, Yokohama,  taking place on 23/02/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daichi Soma (21 - 14(3) - 2) who hails from Kawasaki, Japan and Jun Konda(12 - 18 - 3) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Soma and Konda weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Koizumi, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Yamaoka, Kyo Okamura and Shinji Kiyabu.  

Round 1: 

Soma steps to the outside.  Konda hits home with a cross.  
Konda advances into close range.  As Soma tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Konda.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
