Shin Shimada vs Kyo Takamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Hakodate Boxing Federation promoted show at Kei Kurokawa Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 25/02/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shin Shimada (14 - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Kyo Takamoto(10 - 17(1) - 2) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Shimada and Takamoto weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoru Yasui, and the three ringside judges are Yutaka Omura, Yoshi Kawahara and Hisoka Tani.  

Round 1: 

Shimada throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Takamoto steps inside.  Takamoto pivots to the left of his opponent.  Shimada lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Shimada tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Takamoto closes the distance and manouvers Shimada onto the ropes.  Takamoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Shimada pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Shimada is on target with a jab.  
Takamoto gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Shimada pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.
