Andrii Trofimov vs Kolya Yurkov

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Varshavka Sky, Moscow,  taking place on 09/03/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Andrii Trofimov (10(10) - 0) who hails from Volgograd, Russia and Kolya Yurkov(4 - 3(1) - 1) from Saratov, Russia.  Both Trofimov and Yurkov weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sergey Salnikov, and the three ringside judges are Arseni Ivanenko, Isaak Ahn and Vitali Vlasov.  

Round 1: 

Trofimov advances into close range.  Trofimov hits home with a right uppercut.  
Trofimov digs in a firm left uppercut to Yurkov's body.

Yurkov throws a right uppercut, but Trofimov holds on to his opponent.  Trofimov leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Trofimov's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Trofimov lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Trofimov ties up his opponent.  Trofimov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Yurkov recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Trofimov gets on the inside.  Trofimov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Trofimov attempts to land a left hook, but Yurkov slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Trofimov is on target with a firm left hook.  
Yurkov sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Trofimov hits home with a cross.  
Trofimov lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Trofimov closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Trofimov lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trofimov lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Trofimov lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Trofimov lands a stinging jab.  
Trofimov gets on the inside and digs in a potent left hook to his opponents body.  YURKOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Yurkov tries to step out of his opponents range.  Trofimov is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Trofimov whips in a hurtful left hook to his opponents ribs.  YURKOV IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Yurkov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yurkov's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Trofimov tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Trofimov lands a weighty cross to Yurkov's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE YURKOV WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Yurkov quickly recovers. 
Trofimov gets on the inside.  Trofimov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Yurkov now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Trofimov feints a cross, and then lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Trofimov closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Trofimov snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Yurkov tries to keep the action at long range.  Trofimov lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Trofimov is looking to close the distance and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND DROPS YURKOV TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Trofimov stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Trofimov lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  It looks like Yurkov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Trofimov lands a solid left uppercut.  
Trofimov connects with a mean left hook.  YURKOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Yurkov quickly recovers. 
Trofimov lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Trofimov lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS YURKOV TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Trofimov!
