Griswold Pickard vs Azam El-Badawi

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at Lanxess Arena, Cologne,  taking place on 14/03/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Griswold Pickard (6(5) - 5(1)) who hails from Hanover, Germany and Azam El-Badawi(10 - 2) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Pickard weighed in at 147 pounds, while El-Badawi weighed in at 145 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harmon Schmidt, and the three ringside judges are Baldwin Kuck, Koby Schabacker and Wilmer Krings.  

Round 1: 

El-Badawi throws a right hook, but Pickard holds on to his opponent.  Pickard pushes his forearm into El-Badawi's face.  The ref breaks Pickard's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pickard digs in a left hook to El-Badawi's body.  Pickard holds on to his opponent.  Pickard is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pickard about fouling.  
Pickard throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Pickard ties up his opponent.  Pickard is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Pickard's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pickard feints a right, and then lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Pickard lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pickard manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Pickard sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pickard lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Pickard ties up his opponent.  Pickard leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pickard lands a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as El-Badawi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pickard lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Pickard is on target with a sharp right hook to El-Badawi's body.  
Pickard lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pickard dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pickard manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Pickard digs in a firm right uppercut to El-Badawi's ribcage.  Pickard ties up his opponent.  Pickard leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pickard lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pickard throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Pickard holds on to his opponent.  Pickard tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits El-Badawi's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pickard about fouling.  
Pickard drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Pickard lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Pickard lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Pickard connects with a right hook.  
Pickard lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Pickard closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Pickard attempts to land a right uppercut, but El-Badawi blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pickard lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Pickard ties up his opponent.  Pickard is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pickard forces El-Badawi to back into a corner.  Pickard lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

El-Badawi throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.

El-Badawi tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a VICIOUS right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE EL-BADAWI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Pickard gets on the inside.  Pickard stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Pickard lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS EL-BADAWI!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Pickard lands a left hook to the body followed by two right uppercut's to the head.  He then lands a right hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Pickard!
